Yahoo Domain @ USD35, Domain Transfer To Godaddy

As above title clearly described, I have initiated the transfer of management on this domain, infoct.Net to Godaddy. I have planned for it to be done months ago but delayed till I received the payment due statement from Yahoo! with a whopping USD35 for the price of domain renewal lasting a year. I didn’t realise the price was increased a spike high until my memory hit me back just the last few days. I quickly went to reload my debit card in one of the cash deposit machine available in Public Bank branch just to get this high-priced-domain renewed and start the transfer mission.

There were some negative comment on domain transfer especially involving domain that plans to quit hosting at Yahoo! But such a freaking increased in price, I rather risk myself to get it done by all means. Here are some brief summary of what have taken place;

3. Click button “Proceed to checkout”
4. No thanks. click on “Continue to checkout…”
5. 1.Public, Uncertified
2.Keep the existing nameservers on my transferring domain names as currently set at my domain registrar.

16. Click on Domains – My domains
17. Choose Domains – Pending transfer (top menu)
18. Check domain and click on “Autorization – Begin Transfer Autorization”

20. Choose “Autorize” and click next
21. Go to Domain Control Panel

23. Copy Authorization Code
24. Enter into Transfer Authorization field on GoDaddy and click “Finish”

And it is now 3:39AM. Hope I will get some good news in my mail box tomorrow.

P/S: It has been quite some time since my last post. Alot of changes in my real life lately and rest assured it is all for good. I am seeing myself to strike back soon with more interesting filler.
