SQL Engine Tuning: integrated security = False’ cannot be converted into parameter type ‘Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.SqlConnectionInfo’

I occasionally use SQL Engine tuning advisor to analyze those query that requires further optimization or index creation. And just when I wanted to do that yesterday after almost a year not using that, the application prompted error when attempting to start:

The argument type ‘server type = Sql, server name = ., timeout = 30, database = master, protocol = NotSpecified, workstation = , integrated security = False’ cannot be converted into parameter type ‘Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.SqlConnectionInfo’. (mscorlib)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Object must implement IConvertible. (mscorlib)

Upon googling, it seems that this issue was a known issue by Microsoft and updating this to latest version (newer than v17.5) will help.

Good luck!
