Trip to Hong Kong

The trip have been planned a year ago and now it left only less 24 hours. Am not having the urge for the trip, or those excitement that the trip is near so to say. The only thing now running in my head, having few pending task and reminding myself to prepare for Microsoft SQL 2005 implementation and maintenance cerfication. I know I should be putting aside work or any other related stuff and to enjoy when it comes to vacation but I just cant feel it, yet. Maybe it was due to our impromptu booking of places to stay there without considering other issues when security was the major concern(!). Anyway, am planning to shoot lots of photo there and hopefully to upload all on one of my e-album (which is another interest of mine among others that i never have time to start it).

On a side note, I’ve also thinking to get my replacement handset over there but worry on the warranty claim. Besides, I am also looking forward for some of the place, Disneyland HK and Venetian Macao. Foods are also in my hot list and I am expecting myself to gain weight once I am back.

Till then.

Thieves are at large(!) now

After reading this post Typical Crimes caught on Video - Don’t be part of the statistic at Zerotohundred, then I came across another article in our local newspaper, The Star - Thieves make off with three Honda Civic in the same night. It scares me off, really. There is no way one would predict that this would happen and only thing is to prevent it. As much as one tries the best to avoid, still, it happened.

I just have to curse those b@st@rds to get a life and work for good. It’s sickening to hear such news. All, be extra conscious at all time especially with the current economy challenging situation!

Dell Laptop: Battery Health Check

Interesting stuff. I just got to know from my colleague that there is a way to check the health of dell’s laptop battery.

  1. reboot computer, quickly press F2, will go to BIOS
  2. select to Battery Health, you will see the condition of battery.

It’s good to know if the condition is fine before the warranty expires. My colleague was in rather good luck as the warranty would expire in 3 days time and her bat not in good condition.
