Double module/Final Year Project
I still remember what I have done for my double module project. The title itself does not sound convincing but still I gave it in, titled “Development of Web Advertising Management System (DOWAM)”. The idea came to mind when Google was so hot, and almost everyone in the virtual world is trying their best to squeeze some money out from it. But Google outsmart all, and those who deserve, got what they want.
Craps aside, back to topic. There were three list at that moment;
1. the online merchant store
2. application that able to detect the infrared protocol and automatically adjust itself to communicates with existing device which using the same technologies as replacement (like have application to implement into laptop equipped with IR in replacing conventional remote control to controls the TV programmes.)
3. Development of Web Advertising Management System (DOWAMS).
I still think the idea listed of No.2 is still workable and should worth exploring. However, as usual, talk is obviously easier than done especially to ensure the rice bowl is intact. Then while I was doing my research today, I stumbled on a project submitted on codeproject with title “Pocket PC TV Remote Control” By Nick Deacon. When I saw the title, it caught my eye and I totally forgotten my objective on the research. I followed the link, and found out the project was written using Embedded C++ language. I did not try it out but while reading the page, I recalled those moment when I was struggling to survive through my BSc (Hons) Computer Science.
To think back, it was not the worst after all. I did came up with good idea but did not manage to get it succeed. Anyhow, what have pass, passed. I am treassuring every moment coming my way and to do the best with all my effort.
