My mum brought in Mimi to our family last week. It’s been a week now and we still trying our best to train Mimi to do it’s job in the respective place. It’s a difficult time to teach her. One thing I observed, she likes to shout before she do the job. I’m wondering why…
I will post some photos of her as soon as I upload my pics on my phone. She’s 6 months old now
Let’s welcome Mimi to our home!

Some of the pics I took during drydock in SuperStar Aquarius…

This is where we were for more than two weeks(<3). It’s more or less like a village.

The ship docked quite near to the land. It get it’s power from the generator.

This is another view of Superstar Aquarius.

This is how my workstation looks like in the ship. We set up a place where we can do our task and prepare for the club.

The Mariners. We used to take our breakfast and dinner there. Those chair is covered with plastic to protect it from getting dusty while the construction do their job.

My cabin. Originally it was 9113 but then later was renamed to 9115 after Fidelio system brought up.

This is how our washroom looks like.

I went to Chinatown in Singapore. Actually we travelled to Orchid Road at first but later found out there was nothing to shop as those stuff sold there is all branded and pricey. We enjoyed our time there in Chinatown although there were nothing worth buying but their environment was at least make some different.

This is where the Singapore Starcruises administrative company located. I went there to fix a printer but failed. P/S: I don’t like OKI printer.
There are more available @ http://www.infoct.net/blog/. I’m lazy to update all. Feel free to browse through…

Yesterday night to be precise. I slept for more than 12 hours yesterday and I can’t sleep now. It’s almost 6am in the morning but I dont feel sleepy. Horrible. I guess my time have been totally opposite. I’m quite fresh now and gave it a thought, why not just online. Here I am, don’t know what to blog. I have downloaded all my photos I took during my stay while working in Singapore. It was almost a “hell” but anyhow, it’s still better than what I thought it would be.
One most unforgetable thing was, knowing the other side of the people. The people whom I thought a nice person was total dissapointment. I also get to know more about my colleague(not their personal matters but their behavior). There are different people and different behaviour I suppose in which people management is quite a crutial thing to survive in a workforce.
Aside from that, I learned alot of the technical issue and also the business operation. I strongly agree with what my manager told me, it’s important to know the business operation to better in order to be capable in the technical field. I felt myself improved alot in managing the time, task planning and contigency control. Additional of that, preparation should be made to ensure all the task planned accordingly can be carried out on time. Not to mention, communication is also critical to ensure no misunderstanding occurs.
It’s a good experience somehow. Politics are unavoidable and it’s the most unpreferable event that taken place which anyhow affect a project.
I am glad that the project is considered successfull even though it was not completely done. Happy Belated Birthday to myself anyway!
Will post the photos sooner or later.
