My dream car

Whenever I was asked this question, Type R was the one that strike my mind. But that will remain a dream car after the announcement made by Honda that they will stop accepting any further purchases on the Type R from 1st of July, 2010 (This is in Malaysia, not sure on other part of the world). This somehow disappoints me since it was the type of sports car with 4 doors, comes standard with those high performance equipment.

Knowing it would no longer be produce even I could afford one later, I am started to drool over to model which in hope, it could mine in future.

Mazda RX-8, which are notorious with its’ rotary engine, could unleash a potential wheel powers easily, has long been in my list. Before Type R was introduced in Malaysia, I have already fall in love with the aesthetic exterior design of RX-8. It has the nice look and best of all, it provide access to the back seat through it’s dynamic extended small door. However, with all the good things it comes with, there is still some drawbacks that stops me from buying it (if I can afford). It seriously need a great care from the driver not only on maintenance, but daily check up on the car itself to the extent of driving the car! I believe most have known about it is that, it requires a high rev on the car itself once in a week(or a day) to avoid carbon build ups and constant check on engine oil as the engine consume the oil in addition to the petrol.

There are other cars which have caught my attention as well, one of it is the VW Golf Gti. It has four doors (forgot to mention, I prefer four doors machine which could be a family car anytime I need it to) and it’s automatic transmission-ed. The powers it produced is excellent for me to drive around (even with the current hp my civic produce has sufficiently caters my need, thus anything higher would considers great!). Only thing is, the space of it is much smaller compared to my current car. But that would not matters if it would provide comforts to the driver, other can be compromised.

I guess, I still could not make up my mind on which I should aim for, after Type R. Hope there will be a great sports car coming up soon as a target for me to achieve!
