Vista: Firefox prompted failure in Chrome Registration
An attempt to execute Firefox browser generates an error “Firefox could not install this item because of a failure in Chrome Registration. Please contact the author about this problem.” It appears that there is some permission rights which is required by Firefox but not granted. Changing the user execution behavior to Administrator in carrying out the process eliminates the error. Am not sure if there is any patches or solutions available but if anyone of you came across or know any of it, please kindly share it and it will be greatly appreciated.
