Short weekend..
Weekend is always short.. It’s 7minutes past 12am in the early Monday now. The time passes just so fast that I can’t even feel the weekend mood, dang! There have been quite some task to do which makes my weekend past a little faster than usual. I received plenty of review request and I have few pending task on hand. I just uploaded some of the photos to flickr and am changing my mind not to blog on my journey but to blog more on my discovery. Before that, let me post some of the random picked photos…

I went and research for a better way in concurrency control for updating records in SQL Server. There are plenty of ways and even I have my own concurrency control but the most efficient and effective ways is still, out there. One article that I think it’s quite usefull(to me or anyone needs it) is SQL Server – Optimistic Concurrency Database Updating that keep the concurrency control at the SQL server.
I searched further on the net and found a very interesting article, Improving .NET Application Performance and Scalability by Microsoft, which requires the adobe reader.
One of the point which I hope to type it down here for my reminder, to use datareader for data retrieval and dataset for data manipulation.
